Golden Punjab - Authentic Indian Cuisine in Fresno, CA

My oldest and I stopped in to try the weekend buffet for $17.99 . This inside is nice and buffet area was clean. Everyone was so nice and asked if we had any questions about the dishes. The buffet included a hot tea, plain naan , and some ice cream as well. There was a great selection of, four meat options and 3 vegetarian options. They had samosas, rice, salad and gulab jamun. The naan was nice and thin but not too thin. The butter chicken was delicious but my favorite was this chili chicken ! My oldest enjoyed everything and definitely wants to go back. I wish next time they have an aloo gobi which is my favorite. The only complaint I think I had was the samosas needed a little bit of spice(spicy) and the tandoori chicken was a bit dry and over cooked but maybe it was the piece I picked.

We came here on a rainy Monday afternoon. It was super cold and windy outside but inside it was warm and bright. The menu has quite a lot of different selections, with a ton of vegetarian options. We had the Aloo Gohbi, paneer tikka masala, samosa, and garlic naan. The food was fast and delicious. The samosas perfectly crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The non-was fresh out of the oven and soft yet crispy. Don't get me started on the sauce for the tikka masala. I wanted to lick the plate. As for the Aloo Gohbi, my kid asked me why I don't make this for Thanksgiving instead of "those plain" mashed potatoes. All in all 5/5 stars. I will be coming back with more people so I can try more dishes

The food was very good! The naan was so good! It was more crispy and long than any other I've had before but it was really good! We also ordered veggie samosas and they were SPICY. If you can't handle spice , I wouldn't order. It was so clean and organized inside. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

I love curry food and I have tried many Indian buffet. Saw that this place recently opened and had a buffet on the weekend so I went to go try it and was quite impressed. Very clean place and service was good. It can be a challenge with language barrier when trying to make out what they're saying sometimes so you'll have to have them repeat themselves. Got seated right away and helped ourselves to the buffet area. I was so happy they have samosa as I always look forward to buffets with samosa. Food was fresh and had lots of flavor. Goat curry was great. Only downfall I would say is that I was hoping they had butter chicken and/or chicken tikka masala as one of the other dishes as many other Indian restaurants have it on their buffet entrees. Either way I did enjoy my food. Give this place a try.

Visited the place today for lunch buffet and liked it. Food is fresh and delicious. Plenty of variety in buffet lunch Ambience is good They served you well We definitely recommend it

5/26/24 Happy Sunday everyone!! Hot and new!! Maybe must try!! Getting lunch!! Veggie samosas, Chicken Vindaloo made extra spicy, garlic naan & Jeers Rice ordered. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later!! Greeted after going to the back and the order was ready. Paid for it and left. Nice restaurant. They had buffet set up for lunch. Smelled great! Lunchtime! Order split! Garlic naan was really fresh & DELICIOUS! GREAT with then Chicken Vindaloo and that was spicy & DELICIOUS!! Jeers Rice was fresh & tasty too l! Samosa was really Great!! Even better with the side sauces included!! Mother felt the same about her lunch! Plus, leftovers!! Good service & Great lunch!! Highly recommended!!

The food is delicious! We had chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, samosas, and the basmati rice. Their service is excellent! It is clean, neat , and bright inside. Please support this restaurant! We need as many delicious dining options as we can get :)

We went here for our Sons 18th birthday today, this place is amazing! The taste of the food was so authentic, fresh, and tasty!! I've eaten and other places with similar cuisine and this place beats them all, Niveen was our server and his customer service was really good! The prices are super fair considering the high end Punjab food that is served and the effort that is put into making the food. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much for making our son's 18th birthday special! Oh and our server and manager/owner sang along Happy Birthday with us!

Grand opening for Golden Punjab. Service was great and food was so yummy. Will definitely be going back to try other items on the extensive menu! This evening we had Spring Rolls; Butter Chicken; Gsrlic Naan; and Lemon Rice and a strawberry pastry. Fantastic
